Ditto, thx for the info!

My only concern is that, what if the pain clinic

is not pain med-friendly, say they're more holistic or bio-feedback-y?

Which is all fine and good (and I'll be going to see my old

acupuncturist soon) but, ouch, I know from experience that I need

heavy duty meds.

So I'm afraid if I go to one of those and ask for meds, they'll report

back to my referring doc and I'll seem like a " drug-seeker. "

I guess my question is....

Can I really depend on a pain clinic

to provide me with all my pain needs

like Lyrica, narcotics, muscle relaxers, etc?

I do live in the Denver metro area, so I'd assume there is something big

here, but I'm kind of gun shy

There is a new guy here that is like a pain specialist. They said he has a sign

outside the door that lists a whole bunch of drugs-- including Vicodin, etc..

and it says that if you want those types of meds you have come to the wrong

place and will not be rx'd any and may just need to go somewhere else. So I

wonder what he DOES give? AND there is a Dr in a nearby small, little town that

just got arrested for overprescribing narcotics.. plus he was even caught with

some.. Now all those ppl have to go without their meds. I am sure some just

wanted drugs but some of those ppl are legit like us and Need that med to

survive.. Makes me sick.. cuz now all the docs around here are gonna be a bit

" gun-shy " when it comes to writing rxs for us.. and its hard enough..
