Guest guest
Things are going well with me. Still busy working in a doctors office. I am an office nurse in a busy family practice office. I just celebrated 15 years of employment. The family is quite busy too. My 18 year old son who graduated last June is working instead of going to college. School is not his thing. He still lives at home and wishes that he could live on his own but realizes that it takes a lot of money to do that. My 16 year old daughter went to Washington D.C. over spring break with the high school band. She enjoyed the trip and it was quite an action packed 5 days. She is currently involved with the YMCA Expedition club (for high schoolers), manager for the high school baseball team and fund raising to go to Mexico this summer (with the Y) to live with a host family for 3 weeks. She will also be attending a camp that she has gone to since she was 7 years old to be a junior counselor. We haven't done drivers ed. yet, but she is pushing me to get that done. My 14 year old step-son came to live with us in August and he is adjusting well to our household. He has made the honor roll every quarter so far and failed the entire 7th grade last year at " his other home " . He is doing track now and seems to enjoy. He also plays the trumpet and started in the 13th chair in his band class and is now in first chair. My husband and I like to think that our good influences are coming off on him, lol. I have a step-dght who is in the Air Force in Afghanistan and step-son in the Bay area of California who graduated last October from college with Magna Cum laude. He is working in the field of computers. I have been rather busy lately after being with my mother who had emergent gall bladder surgery and then having to be ambulanced to Seattle to have another procedure done for stones in the bile duct that couldn't be removed during the surgery. My father and I followed the ambulance over and I was there for moral support and to help explain things to them as they were happening since I am a nurse. Everything went well and she is at home recuperating nicely. My arthritis still remains in a drug remission. Taking my Arava 3 times per week and Enbrel 2 times per week. I am trying to walk 2 miles every evening but sometimes life is to hectic to allow it. So good to hear from you and talk to you.....
