Lung problems from methotrexate?

Hi everyone. I haven't posted much lately. I have some questions for

those who have/or do take methotrexate. I took my second dose of 3

pills of methotrexate a week ago (at night) and woke up with my throat

feeling like it had closed, I couldn't even cough and it took me a

little while to take a gasp. My dad said that it was probably acid

reflux (which I have never experienced before). So I did not worry

about it. I took my third dose Tuesday and awoke with the same

problem, except it continued. I have shortness of breath, I am

coughing up stuff and gaging. I am achy and had a fever of 101.4,

that has come down to 99.6. I know many of you have posted about lung

problems due to this medication before, but I was just wanting some

feedback on whether anyone has experienced this because of the med, or

if I was just coming down with something I did not know about. I have

called my doctor and am waiting for her nurse to call back. Thanks

everyone, and best wishes, Holly
