Guest guest
Hi, There was a good article on spam in today's paper. Here are the tips they gave to reduce it: 1. Make sure your ISP has a strong spam blocking system. 2. Don't open email from an unfamiliar sender. Delete unwanted mail. 3. Don't reply to unfamiliar mail or unsubscribe. A reply confirms your email address to spammers. 4. Report suspected spam to your ISP, which can add the sender to it's filtering system. 5. Be very stingy with your email address. Don't provide on warranty cards or other consumer forms. Never post it on user groups like this. 6. Reoprt unwanted commercial mail in Texas via email consumerprotection@... 7. Remove your name from commercial direct-mail lists at www.e- mps.org This info came from Tx Attorney General Office. Debbie L
