Guest guest
I received a letter in the mail yesterday with some lab values from my primary. I take Tricor for high triglycerides and apparently its not working... not only is it not working but since I've been on it, they've gone up AND My HDL " good cholesterol " is only 8 and it should be between 85 and 135. On the bottom of the note it said please see me as soon as possilbe to begin Niacin treatments. Can anyone out there fill me in on anything about this? I know its used as a metabolic booster and it should help out in a lot of ways, but the treatment itself seems a bit scary too, has anyone ever gone through this? I'm pretty scared, because anything I've looked up says I " m just begging for a heart attack and I don't understand why. I'm starting to bug out. Thank you in advance. I hope you are all having warm days, it hasn't gone above 10 here yet!! take care and God Bless. kerri sue --------------------------------- DSL Something to write home about.
