Guest guest
Thanks, ! That's what I thought, it just seemed like toned & defined meant the same thing and muscular was bigger (as in body builder bigger). I look more like the woman in the first picture (though this unanticipated rest period dealing with the chest muscle issue for a while and the feet has made me less so but I didn't lose it all, I don't think my legs have ever looked that good though!). My goal, as far as looks go anyway, I think is to be somewhere in between the two. I think Cathe looks awesome but maybe a little too big for my body type and for how I see myself ideally. The first woman comes across to me more as slender than fit. I want people's first impression of me to be not so much that I'm so tiny (which I hear all the time) but really fit too. I'm very short and also slender, I don't like thin or skinny, it doesn't seem healthy, I want the meat on my bones to be muscle! :-) Biceps with at the Sweat Shop It was so nice to hang out with today! She's my very best friend at work and I'd be lonely without her! 3 sets of 10 congdon curls (warmup set, 10s) 12s, 15's, 15's w's 12s, 12s, 15s cross body curls 12, 12, 12 hammer curls 15s, 15s, 15s concentration curls 15, 12, 10 Had a nice pump going on afterward and it felt great to lift today! Guest guest
Hugs! It's all good. I love the super muscular women but don't want to take steroids to get there. Still, you can get big without them through lots of protein and lower reps / heavier weights and hours in the gym, and a strict diet, of course. I'm not sure with all the cardio I love to do that that is realistic for me but I can admire all the same Thanks, ! Guest guest
Women can't get as muscular "Big" as men do because we don't have testosterone..unless you cheat with steroids. I don't know which body-type I would want to look like, I need to lose the fat first then decide. Jen Okay, what's a congdon curl? And what are w's too? I didn't get to my triceps workout today. I've finally had a few minutes this evening to just sit. It is very late and I am wiped out. Tomorrow promises to be every bit as crazy and I'm not even going to set myself up for failure by saying I'm going to do it. I will put it on my schedule for Monday, the next most likely day I'll work out. Will save this idea for biceps too (once I figure out what these things are)! :-) Biceps with at the Sweat Shop It was so nice to hang out with today! Guest guest
Hugs back at ya! It IS all good! Cathe, I think, looks so awesome because she looks so natural and when you do her workouts you can see why she looks that way too. I don't think I could ever be strict enough with myself to do the body builder look. I like my sweets and stuff too much and I always rebel against restrictions, unless of course the goal is super important to me (I always follow doctor's orders now because rebelling in the past always slowed down my recovery, that's probably the only one I don't rebel against). Right now, enjoying myself and my workouts and just feeling good is more important than anything else and it works for me. Gotta do what works for you though!! Guest guest
I'm not familiar with oxygen and barely look at Shape but now am curious and will search on both! Okay, now I see exactly what you mean, thanks Carolyn! I think I'm going for the more defined Oxygen look but honestly probably won't work that hard! :-) Yes, I've noticed Jai too! And again, they both look so much more inspiring because it all natural! Re: - " toned " vs MUSCULAR > >> I prefer for me, a more muscular physique.
