Guest guest
Wow! You came back big time!! Great week! Body Max and week in review I am still doing CTX Express, but I never do it 5 days in a row. I split it out into two or three weeks.. Since it's cardio plus one body part per day, that means that I need to insert a total body workout here and there. I hadn't done Body Max in years! It used to be a favorite. It was my Sunday workout for a while there. I think it's funny that the step routine was safely stored away in some dusty corner of my brain. It came back as if I had done it recently. Funny. I wanted to keep it low impact since I had that unplanned 10 mile walk in my Converse low tops yesterday. So, I didn't put any risers under the step, and I kept most of it low impact. I used my minimal running shoes so that I could listen to the signals coming from my feet. I get a little excited on that last power segment with the side to side jumps. I didn't modify those. My final modification was the abs. I did my own cycles of plank, down dog, rear plank, bridge pose, bike maneuver, and side planks. THAT FELT AWESOME! The sore throat didn't return. Here's the week. 03/17/12 Yoga: Easy Street 03/18/12 PM Yoga and 7.3 mile bike commute + Cathe CTX Express Allstep 03/19/12 5 mile walk commute 03/20/12 7.5 mile walk commute + Cathe CTX kickbox 03/21/12 Cathe CTX warm up and back only + 5.9 mile bike commute 03/22/12 5.9 mile bike commute 03/23/12 10 mile SF walk with 66 flights of stairs 03/24/12 Cathe Body Max I finally got the food/exercise thing balanced again. It took a few days to get back on track after the cold. Happy workouts!

Guest guest
No way, . What are you even talking about? I couldn't even run a 5k to save my life, and you're in a recovery week, and still lifting heavy, so who left whom in the dust? That walk was supposed to be an easy walk. I was walking along Crissy Field by the bay, and I came to a cross street, Broderick St, I think. I looked up the street and I could see it going up a hill, and further up the street, I could see that it got so steep that the street ended and there was just a walkway with trees. What's a girl to do? And once I got up that hill, I wanted more. Between that and the stairs at BART, it added up. Such spectacular views of the bridge, Sausalito, Alcatraz, Angel Island. I never get tired of it. I took pics. Will post them when I get home from work tonight. 66 flights of stairs?? I LOVE IT! You had a FANTASTIC week ! You left me behind in the dust, I'm afraid! Wow!
