Guest guest
Donna,I'll send you a working pedometer. It's a little bit worn, but it works great. I just don't use it anymore now that I've got the Fitbit.Email me offlist if you want it. Awesome work, Carolyn!I admit, I envy your active job - I sit on my butt for 8+ hours a day and even though I know i should get up and move around more, I rarely do. I need to change that. I may pick up a cheap step counter/pedometer so I can get motivated to reach certain numbers! Speaking of Gilad's express workout - I found this rotation (attached PDF File) that sets up 2 8 week rotations using NOTHING but the Express workout. I don't think I could take that much repetition - but the first week in April, I will be very short on time to workout in the morning, and I think these workouts all come in at 30 min or under - so I may do a week of the Intermediate rotation in April. It will also be a good time for me to use my Express workout -which is in my virgin pile. I may also have a trade pending for the Total Body series. I hope so anyway!! :)Donna P.S. I may start this rotation this week b/c I'm getting a bit tired of Debbie & Slim Series! Sun - Treadmill Run & Yoga Monday - Gilad Strength & Stretch Tuesday - AM - Core workout - either Gilad or Pilates or whatever! Subject: gilad rotation: day 2, 3 and 4 To: " ExercisevideosYahoogroups (DOT) Com " <exercisevideos >Date: Friday, March 23, 2012, 8:08 PM due to work and a then a rest day, i got a bit behind on reporting about my gilad rotation :Oi have already reported day 1 (mon) which was 'total body sculpt:vol1:#1' and '...#2'. for walking, i had a shift in the deli plus after that i took chinook out, so i got two 'stars' in the walking column of my chart for that day :)for day 2 (tues), i did 'quick fit system: cardio classic', which was great for beginners. very basic steps and repetitive for around 30 mins. i tried to spice it up with the rebounder a bit. most of the time i admired gilad. it was a windy day there in hawaii and his hair was longish so he kept tossing his head which was cute. and wow what a bod i also had a walk scheduled and that was accomplished in the deli that day.for day 3 (wed), i did 'quick fit system: abs', which was all crunch variations for 15 mins. you know how much i love those (not!). i used my stability ball up until gilad added the lower ab crunches, which i really need to do, but my dh came into my workout room and was bugging me. for walking, i worked a double shift in the fish dept. i got 20K steps this day, so i earned two 'happy faces' in the walking column :)for day 4 (thurs), i picked a variety from 'express workouts: disc 2' to compose a cardio+sculpt routine. the express workouts are around 10 mins long i think, so i picked three -- cardio basic, strength & balance, core foundations.i was a bit disappointed that cardio basic consisted of the same steps from 'qfs: cardio classic'. core foundations started out good but then back to the old crunches again ::sigh:: strength & balance was the best one, reminded me of a mini-total body sculpt workout.a walk was also scheduled for day 4, but after all of the bonus walking i had done this week, i rested instead.:*carolyn. Guest guest
> I admit, I envy your active job - I sit on my butt for 8+ hours yes a desk job is tough... when i did that i would walk or bike to/from work and also walk on my lunch hour. i also had a nordic trak ski machine at the time and i would use that in the evenings. i would get zero exercise all day long while working :/ donna, you do great fitting exercise into your day despite everything else that you have to do. :*carolyn.
