Guest guest
Hugs... I crave the salty carbs at night too - ug! Yes, the deli will be your gym, and you'll need to bring your meals but I'm guessing you already do that. Lift the turkeys, etc. Still, working out at work isn't the same as working out for pleasure and focusing on a specific goal that you made yourself, and not having any kind of a life outside of sucks too. Hugs.. i went to work in the fish dept again last night and then checked my deli schedule. my boss has gone crazy... she scheduled me for full-time work, not getting a day off in 8 days. that is probably against some union rule but i need the $$, so off to work i go. because this new schedule will take alot of my time away, and because my job can be quite physical, my gilad rotation is ruined for the rest of the month. i will still try to fit in some of the workouts. for example, i think i have time to do a couple of total body sculpt episodes before work today. that should be just right, as i have to be careful to save some of my energy for my job. it is too cold to walk outside, chinook is getting peeved. dh is getting our bikes today but it is too cold to ride. not enough time or energy to do all of my workouts plus everything else. so,i will have to rely on my steps at work to see me through. must watch food intake carefully.... thankyou fitbit! did ok with activity yesterday but ended up eating chips and cake very late last night... ugh! i guess im feeling a bit stressed and am a bit upset about a few recent occurrences. also need 2 more hours of sleep each night. ugh!!! things were going so well, i need to get my head back in the game! i know that i can do all of this... i just need to muster up the mental strength. :*carolyn. Oh no! That sounds like a lot of hours straight through. I understand about the money though, but I'm sure being there so much won't be fun. Guest guest
Wow, that's a lot of hours! Working that much (or thinking about it for now) plus other stressors, including having your exercise routine messed up, can definitely make it more difficult to focus on your healthy eating goals. Try making one super important goal each day, if nothing else works out but at least you do that one thing (or try hard at least), you can call yourself successful and keep the positive mental attitude going (which will help you focus despite all the craziness). Most of all, be kind to yourself (not necessarily with a piece of cake but just don't beat yourself up). This is a temporary time, you'll keep going as best you can now and if it isn't full-on it just isn't, you'll come back to that when you can. Gilad will be waiting for you too! :-) Hugs, boss gone crazy.... i went to work in the fish dept again last night and then checked my deli schedule. my boss has gone crazy... she scheduled me for full-time work, not getting a day off in 8 days. that is probably against some union rule but i need the $$, so off to work i go.because this new schedule will take alot of my time away, and because my job can be quite physical, my gilad rotation is ruined for the rest of the month. i will still try to fit in some of the workouts. for example, i think i have time to do a couple of total body sculpt episodes before work today. that should be just right, as i have to be careful to save some of my energy for my job.it is too cold to walk outside, chinook is getting peeved.dh is getting our bikes today but it is too cold to ride.not enough time or energy to do all of my workouts plus everything else.so,i will have to rely on my steps at work to see me through.must watch food intake carefully.... thankyou fitbit!did ok with activity yesterday but ended up eating chips and cake very late last night... ugh! i guess im feeling a bit stressed and am a bit upset about a few recent occurrences. also need 2 more hours of sleep each night. ugh!!! things were going so well, i need to get my head back in the game! i know that i can do all of this... i just need to muster up the mental strength.:*carolyn. Guest guest
I go through that with interpreting. It's either feast or famine but the job isn't aerobic like your job is but it is tiring, mentally and physically (Shoulders, arms and especially fingers and wrists take a beating!)
