Guest guest
I am sure you all know this, but if not DO NOT EAT OR DRINK GRAPEFRUIT AT ALL if you take benzodiazepines! Xanax, valium, ativan, klonipin--just to name a few. Guest guest
Interesting results. Congratulations. Thanks for your important information. I think that natural aphrodisiacs will be very important in the treatment of PSSD symptoms, till more basic research is being done for the exact mechanism of PSSD. Maybe you want to give some more details? How many mg of rhodeola rosea extract did you use per day and from which brand? And after how many days of this rhodiola use did you experience this strong positive sexual effect? And (perhaps you know) was this rhodiola extract made from the root, stem, flower, seed or leaf of this plant? Roughly estimated how many grams (or millilitres) of fresh grapefruit did you use together with this Rhodiola per day? I roughly estimate that one average peeled grapefruit is about 250 grams. Is this combination of Rhodiola and grapefruit based on external information on the internet or on some theory of yours? Or was it just a coincidence? For what specific sexual problems did Cialis, Levitra and Viagra help? For erection problems or genital numbness and / or other sexual symptoms? How long ago was the SSRI treatment ended? > > I've been taking Rhodiola Rosea lately, it gives me very strong > sensations in the testicles and very strong libido right after that. > Don't even need cialis for erections when on r.rosea. Guest guest
It's my second time on rhodiola, this time i just was trying to overcome stress. In the morning i took the rhodiola, and afternoon drank about 1L of grapfruit juice. About evening i had this electricity in my testicles, with increasing strength. And when i was in bed, i couldnt take off my thoughts of sex, and eventually i had to masturbate, the sensitvity, the pleasure, it was very nice. Not to lose any of the effect i continued this regime for the next days, 1 capsule, 1L or 4 5 grapefruits a day, and the electric waves coming pretty much every day, but not so strong either. The erection was good though. I used Horny Goat Weed in the meanwhile, not sure about any improvement but it certainly didnt hurt. As mentioned, it was my second time on it. May be its beacuse of the grapefruit, or just coincidence, though rhodiola is supposed to boost serotonin, dopamine, norepinerphine. I would say it should be taken over day or not longer than four days in a row. though its possitive efeccts remain under these conditions, some effects from tha past SSRI days do emerge: no appetite, no interest in things. But also, the longer i use it, the more past memories do arise, from times before depression or prozac. contradicting, i am aware. It's been 9 months since I went cold turkey off prozac, tried various things, but not much helped me with libido, though ginkgo was helpful for erections. bupropion was good the first day, but terrible at the days coming after. viagra and levitra help with the erections, but cialis does more i BELIEVE. but i take cialis usually in the morning so that might be the reason, or just placebo, not sure. Anyways, i'd say cialis 1-2 mg/day, rhodiola and grapefruit just does good and hopefully not only for me. > > > > I've been taking Rhodiola Rosea lately, it gives me very strong > > sensations in the testicles and very strong libido right after that. > > Don't even need cialis for erections when on r.rosea. Guest guest
this also happens to me, i describe it like an electrical tingling sensation that goes into the testicles. it started just after i started to take zinc,it comes in waves with increaced frequency and intensity. one wave will trigger another and so on, its weired! its kind of like when your over whelmed with an emotion and you get goose pimples down your back, when this happens i can sometimes feel erections starting and stopping and so on and so on. its like im being aroused but not from my thoughts... it freaks me out! > > > > > > I've been taking Rhodiola Rosea lately, it gives me very strong > > > sensations in the testicles and very strong libido right after > that. > > > Don't even need cialis for erections when on r.rosea. Guest guest
Wow zinc didnt do that to me! How much are you taking? RDA seems to be 15-20mg, and i take 15 mg zinc picolinate but nothing happens. > > > > > > > > I've been taking Rhodiola Rosea lately, it gives me very strong > > > > sensations in the testicles and very strong libido right after > > that. > > > > Don't even need cialis for erections when on r.rosea. Guest guest
well i started taking 20mg lozenge and about 15mg tablet, do a zinc taste test before you try a high zinc supplement! and remember to take appropriate amounts of copper. yesterday i moved onto supplementing with 50mg zinc and also started carnosine 50mg, in the morning i did a really strong coffee enema 3 after one another. it made me wired all day! it kept me awake well after the time i should have gone to bed like i was on a pill or speed. i got into bed and just watched tv, i didn't feel sexual one single bit, in fact at the time i was thinking there's no way i could possibly be stimulated to have sex in that present state. it actually felt like my dopamine was so constantly high that it couldnt get any higher. euphoric sort of feeling! i turned over the tv and something erotic was on i thought fuck it ill watch it, i started to get an erection! i felt down below and it was throbbing hard. and i wasn't even thinking about what i was being turned on by! it was tepting to masturbate! but i refrained from it thinking it could be sexuall energy building up so i wanted to save it. i turned over the tv and stargate was on (the movie) i started to watch it and my erection went down. after a while i was tempted to turn the tv over and see if the same erotic thing was on so i did and it was. i got an erection again instantly, its given me some confidence today thats lasted. > > > > > > > > > > I've been taking Rhodiola Rosea lately, it gives me very strong > > > > > sensations in the testicles and very strong libido right after > > > that. > > > > > Don't even need cialis for erections when on r.rosea. Guest guest
Good results! How about semen volume? I feel it's increased, i mean more liquid but not necesseraily more sperm. Maybe related to the sensation in the testicles. According to http://www.umm.edu/altmed/articles/zinc-000344.htm 50mg/day shouldn't be overdosed and zinc:copper ratio is 2:1, damn these numbers change.. > > > > > > > > > > > > I've been taking Rhodiola Rosea lately, it gives me very > strong > > > > > > sensations in the testicles and very strong libido right > after > > > > that. > > > > > > Don't even need cialis for erections when on r.rosea. Guest guest
im taking 5mg copper with 50mg zinc in seperate doses and thats fine, sometimes i do it on seperart days. semen volume has increased but ive been taking glutamic acid, alanine and glycine, this really helps! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I've been taking Rhodiola Rosea lately, it gives me very > > strong > > > > > > > sensations in the testicles and very strong libido right > > after > > > > > that. > > > > > > > Don't even need cialis for erections when on r.rosea. > (...) > > I've > > > > > > been taking it with > > > > > > > high amount of grapefruit(or grapefruit juice), which > just > > > > > contributed > > > > > > > to the effects. > > > > > > > Along libido, I regain some tiny amount of lust for life. > > So > > > > > rhodiola > > > > > > > definitely works. Guest guest
do you think the positive effect you experienced has something to do with the stress fighting ability of rhodiola? its known as an adaptogen, this link shows more herbs that have this ability. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adaptogen also did you know that grapefruit juice slows down phase one liver detoxification pathways? this sounds bad and it is if your taking pharmaceuticals, but if your not its good if you have a reduction of phase two detoxification enzymes (like in gilberts syndrome, do you have gilberts syndrome by the way??) it gives phase two a chance to detoxify the harmful metabolites that have built up before others are able to be made, this will reduce many harmful substances that have built up in your body. some amino acids will also speed up phase two detoxification sam'e is one of them also methionine. i remeber shay saying something about methionine & methylation, i think about something to do with hormones, i hope he butts in here and tells us again!!! > > > > > > I've been taking Rhodiola Rosea lately, it gives me very strong > > > sensations in the testicles and very strong libido right after > that. > > > Don't even need cialis for erections when on r.rosea. Guest guest
There sholud be a link to it. The strange thing is that rhodila has very divert effects each day, one day i would have the moods, and the next day i'm just anhedonic. the sensation in the testicles remains though, along with erections. Maybe i am adding all that happens to it. Ginseng also is accounted as adaptogen but it only helps for erection strength, not more. (Same for ginkgo) In my observation, there are things that certainly block libido/ erection and there are other things which help. I am adding Spirulina to the banned list, it inhibited 10mg of Cialis! I hate it when this happens, when strong stuff like viagra or cialis wouldn't work. I think Mianserin is another case of Wellbutrin, for some people it works, for me it makes it all worse, no interest in sex. I don't know if i have gilbert's syndrome. My parents also used Prozac and suffered from the side effects, but for them it never was persistent. Just following the inheritence logic for the syndrome.. About grapferuit i know it inhibits P450 and hence some medicine becomes more effective(increased bioavailabilty), good point is that this holds also for sildenafil(from Pubmed). I redid my google search on rhodiola and found some good links below. In 293.pdf serotonin dopamine and NE levels are observed to be changed differently in the brain and hypothalamus. It is also used for male infertilty. After a while one comes to see some links to Reward Deficiency Syndrome and alcholism, but we are not carving for anything, right? Anyway, http://lib.bioinfo.pl/pubmed:17467918 is interesting enough in the domain dopamine releasers. I think the theory of Sustained Desensitization of 5HT receptors is valid, the article on wikipedia PSSD page is dated 1998. One of the criteria is oxytocin, fair enough to explain my inability to fall in love. In previous threads Mike also mentioned that rhodiola wokrs (Rhodiola rosea topic). He was also taking ALCAR and piracetam and much more, i want to hope why he hasn't written since then is that he's recovered somehow. http://www.rhodiolarosea.com/Rhodiola_Rosea_Articles.html http://www.pfaf.org/database/plants.php?Rhodiola+rosea http://content.herbalgram.org/abc/herbalgram/articleview.asp?a=2333 http://www.thorne.com/altmedrev/.fulltext/6/3/293.pdf http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/cgi-bin/abstract/113444275/ ABSTRACT?CRETRY=1 & SRETRY=0 more DETAILS http://lib.bioinfo.pl/auid:5121177 http://www.imminst.org/forum/ index.php?showtopic=18157 & pid=201148 & mode=threaded & start= http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/ 17579498?ordinalpos=1 & itool=EntrezSystem2.PEntrez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pub\ med_RVAbstractPlus > > > > > > > > I've been taking Rhodiola Rosea lately, it gives me very strong > > > > sensations in the testicles and very strong libido right after > > that. > > > > Don't even need cialis for erections when on r.rosea. Guest guest
Simple blood test, my urologist was suspecting diabetis type2, but no bilirubin tested. HDL,LDL_C, trigliserid all in perfect range. Prolactin, FSH, LH, Free T all within range values. just the T a bit out of bounds. > > > > > > > > > > > > I've been taking Rhodiola Rosea lately, it gives me very > > strong > > > > > > sensations in the testicles and very strong libido right > > after > > > > that. > > > > > > Don't even need cialis for erections when on r.rosea.
