Guest guest
I was wondering about what everyones metabolism is like after SSRI. I know SSRI causes weight gain while we are on it but do you guys think our metabolism has slowed down or acutally got faster ? Any of you guys notice any changes ? Any of you guys > notice any changes ? > When I went on Paxil I gained a little weight. I was only on it for about 6 months and I lost it quickly after getting off of it. Then I was on Celexa for about 6 years. It didn't effect me sexually but my appetite tanked. It has remained low after the switch to Fluoxetine (I wish I never did that! That's when the PSSD started). These days my appetite is still alarmingly low. I just feel kind of sick to my stomach when I should eat, but food never really sounds good. I asked a doctor about it and he asked if I was losing weight. When I told him no, he said it was nothing to worry about. Does anyone know if this is true? I'm doing an experiment this week in which I stuff myself silly even though I feel full easily. I'm hoping it will improve things, but it is doubtful, as I had a weak appetite while on Celexa but never the sexual side effects. But my fingers are crossed. Maybe I'm just not getting enough nourishment and if I continually stuff myself my stomach will expand and my appetite will improve.
Guest guest
I have no appetite either. Before SSRI, I think I had really good appetite but now I cant remember for sure. Right now my skin feels really thin and stretchy yet I feel more cut than before. But my muscles actually feel smaller and weaker. So im slightly confused if this is due to fast or slow metabolism. > > > > I was wondering about what everyones metabolism is like after SSRI.
