Ug!   I hate it when yoga leaves you feeling unfulfilled.  I kind of felt this way last night, but I am open to trying Bikram yoga at a different studio for sure.  Or better yet, I should just take Group Centergy, which is free at CAC and taught by warm, awesome instructors! 

 

 

I tried my new Iron Yoga with Cool for the first time tonight. I previewed it when I got it and there are 2 workouts on this DVD. The first one they use dumb bells and looks like half yoga and half strength. The second workout is more yoga based with no weights, so that's the one I did.

 

I was really liking it up to the first half. Then she goes down to the floor and does some leg work. I didn't mind that, but then she does some abs and it was endless. She went from plank to lying down on her back over and over and over. I was getting so tired of it that I almost quit, but it being my first time I wanted to do it " as is " . So I kept going just knowing there would be a nice stretch/cool down at the end. Nope, there was NONE! She put her legs in lotus and closed her eyes and that was it. I said to myself " all that work and no stretch? " Very disappointing. I hope the first workout is worth it.

The actual procedure isn't bad 'cause you're asleep (and then loopy after) but my DH, after who knows how many, still says the prep is awful. To each is own I guess.

Good evening!

Today I went with Power Yoga For Happiness and did "Daily Dose Of Bliss" I just adore this DVD. This was one of the first "power yoga" DVD's I bought a long time ago and I do believe I've done it more than any I have.

Got my test results back today. All is back to normal. My blood cell count, iron and B12. I'm so relieved.

Ug!  I dislike imbalanced yoga practices (unless they are ALL stretching lol)  good job!

 

Hi!

   This evening I pulled out Rodney Yee and did his Ultimate Yoga (Sun Salutations).  This is another good one, but I hate that he doesn't stretch at the end.  He does all sun salutations and then that's it.  I'll have to remember this and give myself an extra 2 minutes to stretch at the end.
