Guest guest
Glad things are going well for Tara, Gail. Landon's tube surgery was a big success. We were amazed at how much the tubes actually did make a difference. mom to Landon (Ds) and Ashton 21 months --- Rusty and Medrano <rmedrano@...> wrote: > So glad to hear everything went great. > So glad you are all home. > mom to and Dayton > ----------------------------------------------------- > Click here for Free Video!! > http://www.gohip.com/freevideo/ > > We're home! > > > >From: GVanHouten <rjvh@...> > > > >Hi everyone! Guest guest
Maggie got tubes last week too. I do notice a difference in her. I always felt she was hearing but now she seems a little more alert, aware of her surroundings. I took her off dairy products this week as well and she is so much less " snotty " . It is amazing how much I did give her dairy. Cheese is a big favorite. They love the shredded cheddar. She really liked yogurt but is just as happy with applesauce. I am giving her rice milk which she seems to be fine with. Have any of you guys tried the non-dairy diet? Do your kids have extraordinary runny snot production? Tara seems much more happier, or maybe thats me??? But with their year birthday coming up next week, I'm switching over to whole cows milk, and not sure what to do for Tara, I'm thinking just to keep her on her soy formula. She still is only 17 lbs {hasn't changed since her 9 mos well check}I'll ask our doc next week what to put her on non-dairy that would give her the most protein and calories. Guest guest
I don't think we suffer from any calorie problems. At 16 months Mags is 23 pounds and her fat sister Sara is 25 pounds! My daughter Sara is sooooo proud of her belly. Any chance she gets she will show off her tremendous belly! We're home! > > > > > > >From: GVanHouten <rjvh@...> > > > > > >Hi everyone! Guest guest
Val, My prayers have been with you and Robbie.I hope this pulse does the trick and keeps things stable for a while.I wish I could move time forward and make today Monday for you two. I hope all goes well with the new rheumy and that he/she has a mind of their own(an agressive mind)and doesn't feel the need to ask someone else what they think. Did Robbies Nephro ever call this new rheumy and speak her mind about the meds? Give Robbie a hug from me and his buddy . You get some rest and take care of yourself also. Love ya Becki and 6 systemic
Guest guest
[ ] We're home! Hi to all, Thanks to all for the wonderful caring prayers and messages! Ron had his surgery yesterday. It lasted about 4 hours as they did the bilateral placement of stimulator wires on both sides of his brain. We got home this afternoon, and he is sleeping at the moment. Thanks again, Judi That is wonderful news! Patsy (63) AZ DX 2005 Stage 1 PBC AIH/SLE/RA
Guest guest
2-fold congratulations: your husband's successful surgery and your 30th anniversary. What cause for celebration. nonny46 <nonny46@...> wrote: Hi to all, Thanks to all for the wonderful caring prayers and messages! Ron had his surgery yesterday. I will probably max out my stress account for the next few weeks until I know he is out of danger and ready to start on his new life with no tremors or stiffness. But I have my sweet one home with me, and in 4 weeks we will celebrate 30 years of marriage...what a celebration!! Thanks again, Judi
Guest guest
Welcome back Judi. I will continue to pray that this procedure will work for Ron. Did the doctor give you any idea as to timing when you will notice a difference? Congratulations to you both on your 30th anniversary. Hugs June
