Guest guest
Yesterday, my TV died (the one and only). I don't know if it is just the switch or the whole thing -- I'll be taking it apart today... By the time I futzed around with it yesterday, I had run out of exercise time. :-( Today, I planned to use the treadmill for my workout. I walked a fast mile, and started to run a mile, when the belt started slipping. So I had to stop that until DH can tell me where the adjustment tools are... I did finish my time with weights and floor exercises. I'd been sloughing off this past week because I'd been spending so much time in the yard. It's not cardio, nor intense, but it's definitely work! I'm soooo behind on things this year because Spring sprang too early this year. Indyrose, with more things to do outdoors today! Guest guest
Yikes, Indy! I hate workout mishap days. I'm sure the yard work was a workout in and of itself!!We got an early spring, too, but now we're on the colder side again (not really cold, just colder than March was!) Take care - Donna Subject: Fate plotting against me??To: exercisevideos Date: Tuesday, April 10, 2012, 11:12 AM Yesterday, my TV died (the one and only). Guest guest
Wednesday-- Treadmill adjusted -- TV dead. My brother said he had some extra TVs he's let us have... Cheaper than buying one! Guest guest
I'm like you Indy, I only have old fashioned tv's and they are used pretty much just for workout videos. I download like 3 shows and watch them on my computer. If you have an iPod you're good to go with your cardio equipment though! Wednesday-- Treadmill adjusted -- TV dead. Guest guest
I'm similar - we do have upgraded TVs (thanks to DH), but I seriously hardly ever watch TV. If I get some down time I'd rather read a book (the old fashioned way - although I do covet an e-reader device...) Donna Wednesday-- Treadmill adjusted -- TV dead. Guest guest
count me into this one. The only newer TV we have is one my dad bought us as a Christmas gift a few years ago. We have 2 TVs and the other one is a huge old one I got for free on freecycle. I've never bought a TV, I've only had used ones and now the one my dad gave us. TV just ain't that important though DH really likes this one because it is a flat screen and pretty big so he can see the hockey puck better when he's watching the Red Wings!
