Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I had cataract surgery on both eyes, recently. It went so well, I don't even need my glasses. However I have had a problem with my right eye. It was hurting terrible 10 days ago so I went back to the surgeon. He said there was something in my eye and got it out. It was fine then on Friday it started to bother me again. By Saturday the pain was just awful, my eye was all red. I called and he wanted to come in right away. Here is the part I have never heard before. He says my eye is fine and the pressure is great. Since I have RA, he says that the ra can not go into the eye but the inflammation from the disease can. This is what is happening and causing this problem. I don't know, anyone heard of this? I was thinking maybe it was inflamed from the original foreign object in the eye that was removed. My own doctor was on vacation and I saw his partner. I like him and he took a lot of time. But he said you have an inflammatory disease and it can inflame anything. Help I am confused!!!
