A couple of my doctors have suggested the possibility of a pituitary

tumor causing my symptoms. Interestingly, it would indeed account for

all my troubles, and they are quite treatable. They are usually benign.

Sadly, my MRIs came back today indicating that I do not have one.

However, I thought I would pass along some information to you as it

may be worthwhile to seek a test to see if you have one.

SSRIs no doubt wreaked havoc either on my hypothalamus or pituitary,

hard to tell. The hypothalamus sends out signals to the pituitary to

send out luteinizing hormone to the testicles to produce testosterone.

It's sad because all current testosterone therapy is based on increasing

luteinizing hormone or adding artificial testosterone if the testicles

don't work, but there is no emphasis on actually fixing the source of

the problem: the pituitary.
