Personally I have experienced irratable bowel syndrome from it that

hasn't done away after a year and a half. It also causes pretty intense

genital anesthesia in some men.

I would recomend 5HTP. I have a formula with valerian in it. You are

only meant to take two a day, but I normally have 3 without loads of

side effects

Do you know webpages about sexual sife effects of St. 's Wort?

How do you know for sure that these bowel problems were a side effect

of St. 's Wort? It might be coincidence?

What is the brand of 5HTP and how effective is it for depression for

you and in what dosage?

Ok, yes I agree it won't cause IBS in most men, I probably had a bad

formula. I also agree it casues very strong genital anethesia in a lot

of men. It is very strong at dealing with depression though. Again I

have read references to it lowering sex drive, but they are few and far

between. Personally I would recomend that 5HTP has far fewer side

effects.
