Thanks for the info about your husband. His PSSD tragedy does seem to have come about in an almost identical way as my own. I find it interesting that he went back on Celexa, and that seems to have helped his PSSD. A number of my family members have suggested the same thing to me: go back on it slowly, then come back off of it slowly, and maybe I would be helped. I am quite reluctant however, as I am afraid of causing myself even greater neurological harm. I have a question: how did your husband's PSSD first manifest itself? I woke up one morning, and had genital anesthesia, and a bizzare tingling in the head of my penis. Thanks for responding to my post.

i am also very interested to know if going back on the drugs and coming back off them slowly might be beneficial, but like you am very scared to swallow any pharmaceutical in case it actually makes things worse. in case you are wondering i was on celexa for about 4 years and it was then switched to paxil and have been suffering from pssd since i decided to stop taking them 8 months ago. i wonder if anyone else has tried this? frank Thanks for the info about your husband. I am considering it, but it strikes me as too dangerous. If something poisoned us, would taking more of the poison help? It just seems counterintuitive. But, who knows?

I'm currently taking Zoloft after long, persistent sexual side effects from Lexapro. Zoloft seems to have brought my libido back somewhat. I plan on tapering off very slowly. I'll post what happens. it much more slowly with any effect? it seems like a viable option but i am a little scared to try it in case it makes things worse. frank __________________________________________________
