Guest guest
Thank you Carolyn! I'm so glad you enjoyed the pics. I love that city so, so much. I'm glad I can get there easily. I walk less than a mile to BART. It's about a 20 minute ride. I then came across an article on science buildings in Atlantic Monthly. It turns out that the crazy building is a science building at UCSF. Those steel pilings are set into the bedrock at the side of Mt. Sutro. hi angelica! hey, sorry that it took me so long to comment on the photos that you took last week while out walking. i just want to say that i really enjoyed them. ive never been to san francisco. that building on the hill is amazing... i cant imagine living or working in a building with such a foundation... too scary!! LOL. i loved seeing the beach and the ocean and wow, everything!!! thankyou for sharing your photos, they brightened my morning. :*carolyn. ------------------------------------

Sutro. i showed the building photo to my dh who is into that kind of thing. he said that he wouldnt worry about the footings of the building but the pilings would probably rust and weaken in our ontario canada weather. then we discussed moving to san francisco so we wouldnt have to worry about weather ruining our concrete and rusting everything in sight. ahhh, dreams! lol :*c.
