Anybody try cyproheptadine? It sounds like it's similar to tianeptine

but a lot easier to get a hold of in the US. I'm interested in maybe

giving it a shot.

I tried it, and didn't have any results. Perhaps you might have

better luck than me, but one thing to watch out for is that it has

pretty strong anticholingeric effects--dry mouth, sedation, etc.--that

may prevent you from getting the dose up high enough.

i read the wiki page on this drug last week, it mentioned that it

irreversibly inhibited somthing to do with dopamine, i think maob?

looking at the wiki article now it seems this bit has been removed, i

would do some research on it if i were you.

No, the MAOB thing is for Seligiline. It's still there. I don't recall

ever reading it on the cyproheptadine page. You pointed it out in an

earlier discussion on Seligiline so I think that's what you're

thinking of.
