Guest guest
If you are having these problems I would recomend that you tell your doctor that you do not want to stay on it. If he tries to persuade you otherwise, I recomend that you tell him you will not keep taking it. Your doctor will slowly wean you off it. I recomend that you try soemthing liek 5HTP instead. 5HTP is milder and will not cause as many side effects. If you tell your doctor about this web site he will probably not beleive you, just tell him you do not like the side effects of the drug and would rather try something natural. Also try therapy, councilling etc. Other things you could do include talking to family, talking to friends, going on a holiday for a bit, taking some exercise etc. Bear in mind the chances of getting pssd long after you take the drug are small, but on the other hand I think the message you will get from anyone on this group is that the small risk involved in taking an ssri is never worth it for anyone. If everyone was aware of the risks involved I don't think anyone would ever take them.
Guest guest
" the small risk involved in taking an ssri is never worth it for anyone. If everyone was aware of the risks involved I don't think anyone would ever take them " this is precicly why you should contact your respective country's regulators to firstly find out if the doctor you seen reported the pssd effects of the ssris, if they didnt you should report the doctors concerned to regulators and the side effects your self! Keep going to doctor after doctor if need be until you find one that actually reports it! > > If you are having these problems I would recomend that you tell your > doctor that you do not want to stay on it.
