DH and I were both vying for the same cool spot in our house this afternoon (it is 90 degrees outside and we are only running our A/C if we are dying)

It's hot here too, . We have an upstairs and though we have central air it just doesn't cool up there very well and that happens to be where our bedrooms are. I have enough trouble sleeping, let alone being hot too. We went out and bought a fan to put in front of one of the registers to see if that will help circulate the air a bit.

Good for you for getting a workout in to spite the heat.

We're in a ranch with a full, finished basement, so we tend to hide in the basement when it is really awful upstairs. My workout room is down there so it is a lot better to exercise there. I'd hate being in a two story on days like this! 's bed is a loft bed and the poor kid roasts so most of the summer he sleeps downstairs. We just got home from a BBQ and the house was 79 or 80 and I turned on the A/C to cool it down for him especially. He's also turning on his ceiling fan. I hope a fan helps you cool down!
