Guest guest
I do not know how this is going to affect your sex drive or ability to reach orgasm, but there is no proven corelation between depression and any chemical imbalance in the body except, perhaps, hypogonadism. That does not mean that depression is always caused by hypogonadism, but that does mean that hypogonadism has the ability to cause depression. Any other correlation between body chemistry and depression (particularly neurotransmitters) is the expression of an unproven theory. I hope the treatment works for you, but the science is shaky. --- ssri_adam wrote: > hey all! i'm about to begin treatment from the > pfeiffer othomolecular treatment center in > chicago (more information on their services > available if anyone is interested) but am > bewildered by one aspect of my upcoming treatment. > > diagnosis - chronic depression > causes - histadelic (high histamine), pylouria, zinc > deficiency, low lithium, hypoglycemic > tendencies, slight malabsorption. > > histadelia is treated with L-methoinine and SAMe to > bring histamine levels down. the only > problem with this is that it takes me forever to > orgasm as it is, let alone feel sensitive > during the act or enjoy the climax like before. > > isn't bringing my histamine level down only going to > make it worse???? if this treatment > will end my depression, then i'm not going to say no > but i can't fathom anyone making my > S.D. worse. > > has anyone out there had any experience with > histadelia treatment and it's effects on S.D. > / PSSD? the pfeiffer center didn't have much to > offer for this question. > > thanks! > > > ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Guest guest
i know 2 things that can regulate histamine are pure vitamine C (ascorbic acid) and macca regulates it as well. Macca is supposed to actually optimize histmine levels if they are too high or low from what i have come across..Pure Vitamin C is the same way..
