Good morning!

I hope you all have been enjoying a nice long weekend. Sorry I haven't replied to many posts. I disappeared from the Internet for a few days. I haven't spent much time on the computer at all. I had so many emails to go through that I just couldn't reply to them all.

So this is the last week of Meso 2. I was looking forward to it, but also glad its the final week. I'm ready to move on.

Today was #22 (chest, shoulders, triceps) I wasn't too happy to see all the darn push ups, but....

CHEST:

Pushups (wide) toes

Pushups (standard) toes

Pushups (wide) toes

Pushups (standards- TF) just 10 reps and barely got that on my toes. She does these fast

Flat bench press 12/10/8 reps 55

Incline chest flys 12/10/8 reps 22

Incline bench press 12/10/8 reps 50

SHOULDERS: Drop Sets

Seated overhead press 15/12/10

Incline front raises 8/7/5

Seated lateral raises 10/8/5

Seated rear delts 12/10/8

TRICEPS:

Flat bench tricep extensions 12/10/8 reps 15

Close grip pushups - knees ( I could barely do the last two sets)

Kick backs (drop sets) 8/7/5

I added on STS Total Body abs and stretch. Man, that's a tough ab workout. So with everything my workout was right at an hour long.

We're heading out to a couple cemeteries, one where my sister and other family is and the other where 's brother is buried. The cemetery where my sister is (and where and I will be) has these trails nearby so I thought we could take the kids (four legged ones) with us and walk them out there. Its in the country so it would be a nice walk. Its already in the mid 80's so it looks like no walking for us. Yesterday it got to 98 and supposed to be 92 today. They can't handle the heat like that. They're too use to the A/C. Also, with Lily's short nose she tends to get really breathy and tires in the heat.

Have a great day!~~

Real life is more interesting than the inter-webs, !  DANG those are a lot of pushups!  Hope your visit to the cemetery was pleasant.   Hugs.

Oh wow, this does sound like a good deal!  If you say it's hard, I believe it!  :)  Isn't it the best when you get a new workout and it's as good or better than you had hoped?Hugs!

Glad this one was a winner for you, !!

Good morning!

This week I'll be doing all my new workouts.  I was excited to start something different.  I think I'll get a rotation from somewhere to finish out the following weeks of June.

So today I started with Cardio Abs.   I want to first say that I'm adding as one of my favorite instructors.  I absolutely love her!

This DVD has 3 workouts on it so you get a lot of workout for your $.  It has Cardio Abs (all cardio for 28 minutes) Total Body Abs Transformer (cardio toning intervals for 28 minutes) and Concentrated Abs, which is another 25 minutes.

I did the first two workouts.    Can you believe I realized that I didn't turn my HRM on until over half way through the workout? GRRRRRRRRRRRRR  I wanted to see my burn SO BAD.  I just took it off at that point.  I didn't want to even see the numbers with half the workout gone.

The second workout (total body transformer) was SO HARD.  Maybe it was because I'm not use to doing a lot of circuit type stuff.  I used 10 DB for all of this and was frying.

I plan to do the final workout this evening, which is all abs.  I can tell you that I really love this DVD.

Have a great day!~~

I'm used to doing hack squats on a machine, how do you do them without one, do you recall?Oh man I've only WATCHED All Pump Xtreme for the lower body.  It indeed looks HARD.  Way to go, , I'm just sorry your back hurts :(  back care yoga tonite?

Good morning!!

Today was lower body for me.  I did Amy Bento's All Pump Extreme Lower Body.  This is a tough workout!!  I got to the balancing stick and that one killed my back.  So it hurt the entire rest of the workout after that.

Got finished with that and then headed out to walk the dogs for 30 minutes.  Supposed to get to 92 today so we had to get it in early.

Bucket squats- Body bar

Balancing stick  10 DB

Hack squats-  I did regular squats using a 40 BBSit & stands- Body BarCurtsy and side lunges-  10 DBDead lifts- did 3 sets of 50 reps of calve raisesBand for hamstring work-  These feel weird.  I skipped themHamstring lifts

Have a great day!

She elevated her heels on the edge of the step platform and picked up the bar bell from behind her hamstrings. Her legs were about shoulder width apart and she kept the bar bell behind her the whole time. I knew doing that move would continue to kill my back. Even doing just the regular squats it was aching like something awful. It feels fine now. It was fine as soon as the workout was over.
