Well I got a little over 7 hours in this week. 3 of those hours were walking, which I look forward to doing more of now that it's 80+ degrees in Portland :)

I don't count my walking, never have....maybe I should? Its only for 20-30 minutes. We walk at a normal pace with a few stops for poops and pees, but usually continuously walk. I guess I never counted it because one day I walked them and wore my HRM and I burned 70 calories lol.

Anyway, you're consistent with how much exercise you get a week and 7 hours is SUPER good.

Your jello looks really good. Let us know how it turns out. I just bought myself another canister of protein powder yesterday along with a couple protein bars that I had a coupon for. I don't eat the protein bars like I used to, maybe just one a week now.

Hey , I hope you have a great week including that food stuff. It's such a head trip -- a hugely complicated head trip. The only thing that works for me is a straight-up reality check. Well I got a little over 7 hours in this week. 3 of those hours were walking, which I look forward to doing more of now that it's 80+ degrees in Portland :) It may only burn a few hundred calories an hour, but what it does for the mind and spirit is immeasurable!<week.jpg>Probably won't be working out with Will for awhile - he wants to lift his way and I want to lift my way and neither of us are going to budge. I'm going by what my pro bodybuilder trainer wants me to do and Will by contrast has no real plan. I totally get it though, you need to do what's right for you, so for awhile he'll be going to LA Fitness which is closer to where he lives. I have a feeling I'll be hearing from him before long though :) I always do.In the meantime I too, , am planning my menu for the next day and tracking my macros in Excel once again. I *must* get control of my eating! Tonite with the family they all had beer, wine and vodka and I can say with some pride I had Talking Rain sparkling water, zero calories. It was refreshing and I had a nice time :) I ordered a new tub of protein - Red Velvet Cake flavor, by iForce. I'm excited to try it! One of my goals is to have 2 scoops of protein powder MINIMUM per day. I seldom reach my protein goal for the day and these really help! Tomorrow morning's smoothie:<smoothie.jpg>I'm already looking forward to seeing if my Jello experiment works and drinking that first cup of coffee in the morning!

I think it counts, . 70 calories here, 70 calories there... If you were consuming an extra 70 calories here and there, it would add up as well. I think you should count it. My walks are 3 miles / an hour long so it's more like 300 calories for someone my size.   Not a ton, but it covers a slice of Pizza Shmizza pepperoni :)

Is it a good protein powder?  I'm looking for a good one - Is it whey (I think I'm allergic to whey) or what?  Please tell me who you get it from - Regards and thanks,Catlin
