Guest guest
ive know about this for some time the drug company's are basically self regulated, they present research to the regulators that is bias, any unfavorable findings about there drugs are not submitted, the regulators give a licence for the drugs based on the bias research presented to them by the drug company's, which is bias. there is some evidence floating about something to do with glaxo and missing research that was never handed to the drug regulators, as a result the drug regulators in the uk the mhra sent them a letter, ooooooohhhh i bet they were well worried about that.... > > http://news.yahoo.com/s/hsn/20080117/hl_hsn/antidepressanteffectivenes sprobablyoverst > atedreport;_ylt=AkzqMxHJHJJbBsLJxE99viiWSbYF > > no kidding--duh!! >
Guest guest
Since many years there are many reports about 'irregularities' of certain pharma companies. The integrity of these certain companies is often disputed, with good reason. There should be much more government control on their behaviour especially in the field of research. Research reports should be honest and complete. The gouvernments should see to that. Patient organisations like this support group can protest against the current situation. Elections in the US coming up. The Democrats are much more critical about the pharma companies than the Republicans. > > ive know about this for some time the drug company's are basically > self regulated, they present research to the regulators that is bias,
Guest guest
A letter? The only thing these multinational, moneymaking machines understand is money. If the governments of the world want reform they will have to start fining them heavily. At this point however i don't think they really care. Guest guest
The pharma drug cartel basicaly owns the governments. In the USA, W. Bush is the #1 recipient of pharma cartel bribe money. Not to mention 90% of the rest of the talking heads in politics are also owned. Check out the " freedom commision on mental health " . It's simply a government backed, unconstitutional, chemical asault on society, and it starts with the school children and " teenscreen " . Teenscreen produces 85% false positives to create more customers of big pharma drugs. The schools allow this because they profit from it also. I've spent a lot of time complaining about this issue already. To date, the best change that has happened is when new regulation was passed to make the FDA phone # printed on the drug PI sheets to make people aware of the fact that they themselves can report drug injurys directly. Of course there are a lot more changes that should happen also. But hopefully there will be a giant spike in ADR reports to the FDA and the media will have plenty of fodder to expose the cartel for what it is. > > A letter? Guest guest
i encourage all people that have reported drug side efects to there doctors including pssd to contact there respective country's drug regulators to find out if there doctor reported the adverse reactions you had to the drug. if they didnt report it, you report them and the side effects directly to the regulators! > > > > ive know about this for some time the drug company's are basically > > self regulated, they present research to the regulators that is bias, >
