Thanks michelle i know its scary! When my rheumy mentioned thousands of dollars a year... i about hit the floor. If you are perscribed Enbrel, ask your doc if the manufacturers have a patient assistance program. They usually go by your income and you may get the meds at no cost. HUGS good luck
Guest guest
, I am curious what it would cost too. I know you have different levels of coverage for meds there...Can you call a local pharmacy and let us know... Guest guest
Hi : Yes, Enbrel is costly. I have been on it now for 4 months, and it is really helping me, along with the Mtx. I have good insurance now, and my co-pay is $30 per month. With another insurance I had previously, with a copay of $400 per month, I could not afford it. Like said, if you don't have insurance, or your copay is very high, check with the patient assistance program at Enbrel services. They may be able to help you. You can also ask your doctor to try and find a way for assistance for this medication. Good luck.
