Guest guest
It can be very overwhelming. And it is life changing. Many will try to blame the person suffering but disease isn't something you had any control over. It is just a matter of how we react to what has happened at this point. Hopefully, you have a good doctor to get you through this. You can use this time to actually focus on things that bring you happiness because this condition definitely slows things down a bit. I am actually in a flare as I write this but one of things that brings me happiness is helping others. I am the outdoors type -- loved running at the track and miss the runner's high you get, sometimes feel like I have been benched from the physical activities I used to enjoy, but I found new ones not so painful. I garden when i can, feed the backyard birds, and keep the faith I will one day find the right therapy for me. Is there something indoors to bring you joy? Do you paint? Hang in there. healing, Ebony
