Guest guest
I did two new videos today! Both of these I found in Goodwill -- Winsor Pilates Thighs and Buns (VHS) and Accelerated Sculpt (DVD). I was looking for something that would keep off my feet, and these filled the bill. I'm still having some problems with my instep. I hadn't done Pilates is quite a while, and I was pleased to see how little it actually hurt! The first time I ever tried it, I thought my legs would fall off, and I hurt for days afterward. At 22 minutes, I think I will be keeping it as an " add on " to another short workout. The Sculpt video was good in that it showed me some new ways to use a band -- plus the exercises were very pin-pointing for muscle sculpting. They gave illustrations on which muscles were involved, and I liked that, too. It was very informative, but not " fun. " Indrose
Guest guest
It is really interesting how we get so tight and inflexible sometimes, today, I during downward dog, I noticed how tight my calf muscles are - I don't even "work" those muscles!Donna To: exercisevideos Sent: Wednesday, August 8, 2012 12:52 AMSubject: Tuesday I thought I was going to do legs this morning, but I was feeling pretty inflexible, and my feet were iffy, so I did the short workout on Eoin Finn's Pursuit of Happy Hips. I think it's called "All Downhill". I hadn't done this one in a really long time. Loved it so much! It made my feet feel better. I don't know why it always surprises me how much better I feel after a good yoga session. I'll do Cathe's Pure Strength Legs tomorrow.I logged 18,037 steps: walk commute (the long way from another BART station) plus a lunch walk. Gorgeous day, but the air was a bit sooty from yesterday's refinery fire. Best of all I hit my food target with the right foods. It's good to be in that groove. I've been forgetting to mention that I'm still on a roll with the evening music practice. So calming.
Guest guest
It's so true. Yesterday I even really felt in in the ball of my foot and my toes. I find it even more interesting how my foot problem is just an indication of a whole body problem.
