Guest guest
HI , Welcome to the group. Even though I don't have RA, I do have fibromyalgia, OA and Raynaulds. This is a great group of people here and there much good information. That's why I stay here so I can learn as much as I can. It sounds like you have had a rough year. I can feel for you since last year I found out I have thyroid cancer. It put me in the hospital several times. It's nothing having RA, I know. My prayers are with you. warm hugs, Debbie L Austin, Texas
Guest guest
Hey, Debbie! I was in Austin just this past weekend. My oldest son was visiting UT. Can you tell me about your experience with Fibro? I know a lot less about it than I do RA. Sometimes, I can't be sure which one is causing me to feel so bad or if it's both. I can identify the joint pain easy enough, but when I feel really bad, I hurt all over my body and even someone touching my skin hurts. All my muscles and tissues ache and I feel like I have the flu. Is that fibro? I'm very sorry to hear about the cancer. How is the treatment going? I will be praying for you, too! deebs87 <dlohf@...> wrote: HI , Welcome to the group. Guest guest
HI , Actually I live in Round Rock, north of Austin. I am a UT grad, too. All the symptoms you describe can be from fibro. When I am very stressed I get achy all over and very tired. I am touchy in many places, also. To help my muscles stay loose I take a yoga class twice week at my local gym. Here is a web page that is helpful: http://familydoctor.org/070.xml Thanks for your concern and prayers. My cancer is considered in remission now. Two weeks ago I had a body scan which was negative for cancer. Right now I am waiting to see if my tender nodes in my neck mean anything. I can keep you posted. hugs, Debbie L > > Hey, Debbie!
