Guest guest
Hi Ronda, I haven't run in a couple of weeks either and my knees feel a lot better. So, I guess lesson learned - I don't need to do that!! Funny, I did a Christi workout on Friday - I did Stage 1 of Step Heaven and Stage 2 of Hi Lo Heaven (the other "stages" are way too complex for me!) I do like her "Mission Possible" workout which has easier to follow choreography and includes both step and floor cardio.; I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow - but it has to be a calorie burner - eating was NOT good today. Not so much meals as junk I found myself into..... Donna Subject: SundayTo: exercisevideos Date: Sunday, April 22, 2012, 9:18 AM Hi!I've spent a week without running on the treadmill, and what a difference with the piriformis problems I was having! I can actually sit in my car without being in pain. There was one day this week that I walked 3.5 miles, and I could feel the piriformis pain the next day, but only mildly. Mostly I have been doing videos. The memorable one from the week was Christi 's Totally Hot Cardio, because I was almost completely lost through the whole thing! Lol. It was my first time doing one of her videos...but yeah...it was very complex. I tried my best to keep up with the two exercisers in the back who were doing beginner moves, and even that was too hard for me. At least I kept moving the whole time, doing my own thing when I couldn't follow along. So I got a decent workout. I'll try again, but I'm sure it will take me at least a dozen times before I'm somewhat proficient at it, lol.In about 15 min, I'm going to go do Blanks Sweating off the Sizes for the first time. I hope everyone has a great day!Ronda
Guest guest
Donna, Yes I learned my lesson, too! I don't have to do things that make me live in pain. I have a Christi dvd that has 4 of her workouts, including Step heaven and Hi Lo Heaven. I haven't even opened it yet, but that's a good idea about doing smaller parts of the workout vs the whole thing. That's much less intimidating, so I will definitely give myself that option when I do crack it open. I'll also keep in mind that Mission Possible is somewhat easier...maybe I'll try that one out in the future. Thanks! Yeah, I ate a little outside my norm over the weekend, too. I did Blanks Sweat off the Sizes yesterday (and thought it was really fun!)...hopefully that saved me from some of the damage, lol. Have a good day, Ronda > > > > Subject: Sunday > To: exercisevideos > Date: Sunday, April 22, 2012, 9:18 AM > > > > Â > > > > Hi! > I've spent a week without running on the treadmill, and what a difference with the piriformis problems I was having!
