Updates on what I am doing (Candida and Mineral Balancing)

It's been a while and I have been doing plenty of research and trying

some new things. It would be easier to look at my lab reports but I

don't have a scanner.

The first thing to report is that I have candida, a chronic yeast

infection. I determined this based on a few things:

- When I got my ears candled, yeast (white powder) was found in my left ear

- I did three colonics along with a liver flush. This proved it, because

apparently the candida got pissed off and started traveling, first out

my butt everyday, then through my blood, causing red rashes on my skin

in places like my groin, arm pits, any place that has moisture.

- The saliva test shows I have it. (Spit into a glass of water first

thing in the morning and watch what happens.... google for more info).

The second thing to report is that I have a pretty big mineral

imbalance. After reading through tons of useless information by people

who never actually cured themselves of candida, I came across info that

said that copper imbalances can contribute to candida and other problems.

The book " Why am I always so tired " deals with candida, minerals, copper

and zinc, etc:

This guy worked with Dr. Eck, both of whom it seems are the

authority figures on hair tissue

http://www.drlwilson.com/

I am seeing a colleague of Dr. and Dr. Eck who is located here in

Phoenix, AZ. Good news is that these guys have heard about the sexual

problems related to SSRIs. $300 to take my hair sample, have it

analyzed, and then give me a VERY detailed guide book on what to do to

fix things. The lab reports gave very detailed explanations to all my

symptoms based on the results. The labs showed the following problems:

-Toxic levels of Mercury, Aluminum, and Nickel.

-Very low Zinc, Iron, Selenium

-Low Manganese, Chromium, Phosphorus

-Unbalanced ratio of Calcium/Magnesium, Zinc/Copper, Calcium/Phosphorus

Now the important thing to understand here is that simply supplementing

with a mineral WILL NOT bring it's level back up. They all work together

as a team. The key is to balance all very carefully. The telltale sign

that my copper is f*cked up is the fact that my copper level is right on

the center of the ideal value. However, since copper and zinc share in

inverted relationship, this would mean that zinc should also be at the

center. But it's not, it's super low. What this means is that the

Mercury and Aluminum are causing the copper to be " Bio-unavailable, " in

other words they are being used instead of the copper.

Digestion is a huge part of all of this. The labs showed that I am a

Slow Mixed Oxidizer, meaning that I don't burn food for energy quick

enough, etc. The diet guidelines were addressed specifically to this.

Interestingly enough, the low zinc is a possible contributor to some of

these problems, as it is responsible for sugar breakdown, transport of

Vitamin A, controlling infections, protein digestion (lack thereof

causes low phosphorus levels, since it is from protein). Seeing how the

puzzle pieces start to fit?

So the plan is to fix all these mineral problems, which should hopefully

cause lots of symptoms to disappear. This includes:

-Following a strict diet focused on slow oxidation, plus the fact that I

have candida (which feeds off sugar)

-Digestion aids to help break down protein, etc.

-Avoid sources of mercury (shellfish, big fish, dental fillings,

medications), aluminum (foil, anti-perspirants, soda cans, etc), nickel

(peanut butter, whip cream, margarine, oysters, tea, etc)

-Vitamin/Mineral supplements

-Supplements to aid in removing heavy metals

-Infrared sauna each day to draw out chemicals and heavy metals

I will be retested in four months. I wonder exactly which minerals were

affected by the SSRIs?
