Guest guest
I will pray for you and your father and family. My uncle is 77 had also had lung cancer and had upper lobe removed. He came through with flying colors! He didn't even have to have any radiation or chemo. His only compliant is a small amount of shortness of breath. I hope things go this well for your father. Guest guest
Doc thinks my mom has lung cancer, inoperable. Keeps getting little nodules popping up in lung. But she is 89, so any treatment could kill her and she is not suffetining, so going to leave well enough alone. Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I have been lurking for some time. But I need to ask for prayers. My husband had another heart attack last Sunday (23rd I think). He had a cardiac cath that shows lots of blockage in the left artery and other places. There is a lot of damage. At this time he is home resting his heart so he will be able to withstand the surgery. We are going to the heart surgeon on Thursday. When they go in to fix the left artery they will try and bypass all the others that are not feeding the heart. I am so stressed and need you guys for support. I feel bad I haven't written much, but read my mail every day and try to keep up on stuff with all of you. I got my letters out before this happened, but feel bad because I know I need to send more. Just can't concentrate. So, if you can, please include him in your prayers. God Bless you all and thanks so very much, Connie, MI

Guest guest
Connie ... so sorry to hear about your husband and he HAS been added to my prayers. Hopefully everything will turn out okay when he sees the surgeon and they can clean out all the arteries when they do the surgery. But YOU need to take care of yourself too. You will be no good to your hubby or anyone else if you don't. I know that's much easier said than done but when you can take time to put your feet up and relax, do it. Hang in there and know that you are both in my thoughts and prayers. Ann (TX) P.S. Hubby and I are going to be in MI for a week in March ... would love to meet you!! Guest guest
Dear Connie, You poor dear! Please know that we are praying & sending calming thoughts & prayers for hubby's complete healing! When will he be having his surgery? I know this is a ridiculous request, but try to be gentle with yourself & not get totally stressed out. This will only make you feel worse. Try some deep breathing exercises, stretching & perhaps meditation. Walking can be a good way to relieve stress, too - if you're up to it... Vanilla aromatherapy can be relaxing as well. All " paws crossed " here & healing thoughts & prayers are on the way! Blessings & velcros, (Chicago)

Guest guest
Dear Connie, I am already praying. Just to maybe make you feel a dot better, I worked in the " heart room " for 3 years awhile ago when I was a new RN and have seem countless people undergo surgery with no problems. I've kept up with news from sources here and there and just talked to a friend who had a triple bypass and a valve replacement. He is doing great. If surgery is in order, I feel that your husband will be just fine. Many (most) people have to have heart surgery because of a heart attack. The surgery itself is so perfected today. God bless you and I'll catch up after my puter is hooked up sometime after my move on Wed this week. Love and prayers, Helen

Guest guest
Ann you have my prayers. I am so sorry you are going through this. I wish there was some way I could give you some strength. It sounds like your mom needs help and until she gets it she will probably never stop. I can't believe your ex would believe her, he needs a wake up call. Maybe you could get someone to mediate for you with him. Its a shame the kids have to suffer because of his and your moms actions. I will pray for strength for you and that your mom and ex see the light. the WV hillbilly

Guest guest
Dear , Sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. I am really sorry about how her passing came to light. That is a tough one. I can't imagine how hard it is with Mother's Day right around the corner. With a family death so close to you and with you finding her it will take some time. Just with my mom's passing in September it has been quite a journey for me. Please don't be afraid of experiencing the pain and sadness that comes with all of this. for some men it takes longer for it to all set in. That is probably making it extremely hard on you as you've been reliving it and now you are there for him and you also need him for you as well! Not to say that he isn't but for you it is like a double whammy? I will certainly pray for you and your family and continue to do so! If you need to talk, just let me know. Bless your heart! I hope some of the stress you are experiencing will subside soon! Keep in touch.
