Guest guest Posted April 22, 2012 Report Share Posted April 22, 2012 A special friend gave me the Yoga Booty Ballet workouts (thank you!! you know who you are!!) and today it fit the bill! I've been depressed lately, and this was the fun and feminine workout my heavy soul needed. It was a lot of fun! You start out doing some mudras, making your hands into a lotus, along with some quick lower body warmup exercises and stretches. After that you put your sticky mat off to the side and do a fun, simple cardio salsa type dance! Seriously it was easy, I had a little bit of trouble with the pas de beret (sp?) move but still was able to catch on and even add in the turn! After that there is a nice pilates type core section, and a pigeon pose, which I always appreciate. You end with the lotus mudra and say aloud, " I am prosperous, I am blissful, I am happy " (I think that's what it was) Namaste! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
