i did the xfactor add-ons today...

YAY!  I've been waiting for this all day!  :D

and is about 15

mins long. this workout was ok, some good variety but you dont

do anything for very long -- just 30 seconds per exercise. Do you recall offhand what the exercises were?

then came 'abs' which was led my nahesi crawford... yay! ::

hugging nahesi :Hands off!  He's mine!

again, meant as an add-on so there is no warmup or cooldown.

im sorry to say that i did not like this workout. in ten

minutes, he tries to cram in 17 ab exercises, each done for 30

seconds. so it gets pretty manic, especially near the end, with

no transition times.Boo.  Tony fits a lot in his Ab Ripper workout but it flows nicely.

soooo, i will definitely be subbing for these three workouts for

the next 7 weeksI will try them all once, but I will switch these out too, it sounds like.  I also like doing this :)

Thanks for the review!  Donna, look forward to hearing what you think!  I'm leaning toward the gym tonite.

last, yoga with that janis-like girl again which was supposed to be 25 mins but i didnt make it to the end. it started out ok but i lost interest after, oh 15 mins, and i did my own stretches while she talked on and on... blah blah blah. she seems nice and all, but she is never quiet

LOL Sounds like a good overall routine, but yeah, the chatting would drive me nuts after a while. That's why I can't handle Mindy Mylrea.

Good job Carolyn!

Thanks for the reviews on these, Carolyn! I think I will only do them if I feel like adding them on to my X-Factor workout for the day- it sounds like I wouldn't be missing much by skipping them. So, I think I will just do the X-Factor weekly workout 3X per week and do these only if I have the urge to add on or try them out!

Take care!Donna

i did the xfactor add-ons today...first 'glutes & thighs' which was led by a blonde girl who reminded me a little bit of janis saffell (slim with long blonde hair and a similar voice). although she introduced the other girls with her (lauren the crazy puncher is one), i did not catch her own name. this workout was shorter and easier than i expected... it is meant to add-on to other workouts for an extra lower body blast. there is no warmup or cooldown and is about 15 mins long. this workout was ok, some good variety but you dont do anything for very long -- just 30 seconds per exercise. even less if the exercise is to be done on both the left and right sides. in those cases you also have to count your own reps because she might not cue to switch sides at the right time.then came 'abs' which was led my nahesi crawford... yay! :: hugging nahesi :again, meant as an add-on so there

is no warmup or cooldown.im sorry to say that i did not like this workout. in ten minutes, he tries to cram in 17 ab exercises, each done for 30 seconds. so it gets pretty manic, especially near the end, with no transition times. at least it is all done on the floor so there is no getting up and down, but there are transitions from your back, to kneeling, to your stomach, to sitting. also he is even worse for not giving enough time to do each side evenly, so again you have to count your own reps. they go so fast that i missed a couple of exercises because i was still doing the one from before. all of the exercises are good but the presentation of this workout is crap... they could have made it longer or not tried to do so much at such as fast pace.last, yoga with that janis-like girl again which was supposed to be 25 mins but i didnt make it to the end. it started out ok but i lost interest

after, oh 15 mins, and i did my own stretches while she talked on and on... blah blah blah. she seems nice and all, but she is never quiet.soooo, i will definitely be subbing for these three workouts for the next 7 weeks (which is fun, so i dont mind):*carolyn.

That's how I'm thinking too Donna!  I'll try them at least once just to say I did all the dvd's, but don't feel any burning need to do these all the time, as you do ab and glute work in the other workouts.

My tush is killing me today!  How's yours feeling?

Mine is doing a bit better - it actually seemed to get less sore from doing the X-Factor workout yesterday!!! Odd...
