Guest guest
Brent, I didn't notice an improvement in libido until up to 5 days AFTER STOPPING the feverfew. Stop taking the feverfew then wait 5 days and see how you feel then. I've seen one of feverfew's active constituents, alpha-methylene butyrolactone has a half life 6 days which is long. > > Well I got some feverfew online last week and i have been trying it out at once a day doses (at night) at a pretty high dose everyday. 300mg x 3 capsules. > > > > My brand is nature's way feverfew standardized 0.7 parthenolide. So far... it could be placebo effect but *maybe* girls look more interesting... also perhaps there is more response in terms to stimuli .... However at this stage I cant say that it is having a really pronounced effect. I'm perhaps on day 7 or so of feverfew. > > There has not been any increase in sensitivity though, which is dissapointing. I remain numb, which sucks. I hope the numbness somehow goes away and sensitivity returns... > > Brent >
Guest guest
Interesting how feverfew is used to treat stomach aches, and that things which tend to effect the stomach bring back deeper emotions for me temporarily. > > Brent, > > I didn't notice an improvement in libido until up to 5 days AFTER > STOPPING the feverfew. Guest guest
Brent, I initially felt a lessening of the anasthesia feeling that has been discussed before. I don't equate this with increased sensitivity. First I felt the disappearance of the numbness while on Feverfew. While I was taking feverfew I felt neutral, meaning low libido but also no numbness. I didn't feel increased sensitivity until 4-5 days after discontinuation of Feverfew. Did you feel at all depressed on ther feverfew? because that's how I felt after 3 days of taking it which is due to a reduction in platelet 5-HT. After stopping feverfew I felt my serotonin rebound, and thats when I felt the positive effect. I also felt a negative effect from withdrawing from Feverfew which is allergic reaction and headache. Apparently Feverfew also inhibits histamine release, so when you stop taking it you become temporarily sensitive to pollen, dust molds etc. > > > > > > Well I got some feverfew online last week and i have been trying it > > out at once a day doses (at night) at a pretty high dose everyday. > > 300mg x 3 capsules. > > > > > > > > > > > > My brand is nature's way feverfew standardized 0.7 parthenolide. Guest guest
I see... Thanks for clarifying the part about increased sensitivity until 4-5 days later after stopping. I'll stop it for a while to see the effects. I definitely feel an increase in depression. Pretty shitty feeling but it reminds me of pre-ssri days a bit so that's a bit nostalgic... So far I am on day 1.5 of stopping feverfew... No allergic reactions, headaches, etc so far... Will keep posted... Hope this works!!! Guest guest
Brent, Sorry to hear you get no benefit from feverfew. It still works for me, especially if I feel serotonin levels rise with associated sexual side effects. How did you feel before taking your first course of feverfew? Perhaps you are suffering from dopamine deficiency? I take flax seed oil 3 times a week and it definitely helps with everything: mental fatigue, depression, PSSD I recommend Flax Seed oil or cod liver oil for boosting dopamine levels: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0FDN/is_4_8/ai_111303983/pg_5 And of course, take B vitamins... > > yeah... just another 'report'. > > > > tried stopping the feverfew for a week, no results still. so am back on it. hopefully it reverses some of this stuff. brent >
Guest guest
Any news on feverfew ? People who are taking them right now, how do you guys feel while on them ? I ask this because I felt very calm , maybe too calm while I was on them along with depression, im curious if this is a good sign or bad. > > > > yeah... just another 'report'.?> > > > > > > > tried stopping the feverfew for a week, no results still. so am back > on it. hopefully it reverses some of this stuff. brent > > >
Guest guest
I think its a good sign. Just don't take too much. It prevents serotonin from being made in your body. A single dose is long-lasting so you only have to take it a couple of times a week. > > > > > > yeah... just another 'report'.?> > > > > > > > > > > tried stopping the feverfew for a week, no results still. so am > back > > on it. hopefully it reverses some of this stuff. brent > > > > > >
