This morning I did Abs Yoga with Rodney Yee from that Gaiam Abs workout DVD I wrote about earlier this week. It was a 20 minute practice and I thought it was going to be too easy but I didn't care this morning, I wanted soothing and this looked that way. It turned out to be not necessarily easy but especially with only natural light coming into my workout space, it was fairly soothing. The music was really nice, it moves at a very gentle pace, no power yoga or vinyasas but it does flow nicely from pose to pose, it takes place in a desert too. Everything except one very short standing section is on the floor and it wasn't super challenging but it wasn't super easy either, just right for today. There was one pose that got me pretty good too. You're in boat, which is fine for me, then he tells you to bring your knees to chest, with your head and shoulders still off the floor. Sounds easy but it was surprisingly difficult especially since it was late in the practice and my abs were starting to fatigue. I'll definitely do this one again.

I'm doing better today overall than yesterday. DH told me we have enough in our investment accounts to cover 2-3 months worth of expenses (not including medical, we're waiting to find out how much COBRA is going to cost which won't be pretty) plus I do bring in some money and he can apply for unemployment as of next Friday (he's officially working & being paid through May 31) so that helped. My feet from too much walking/standing on hard floors doing grocery shopping in 3 or 4 stores trying to get the best deals on everything but they'll be okay soon I hope. It has been an emotional day (thanks to AF especially probably) and I was just glad to get some little bit of exercise in, it felt really good. Off to get dinner ready and, if I have time, shop online for a new cell phone.
