Jen,

I agree with you that nuts (especially raw) are very good to eat regularly, and

a handful is a perfect serving size. They're packed full of vitamins, minerals,

and healthy fat. They reduce the risk of diseases such as cancer and heart

disease, plus they make you feel satisfied which helps to avoid eating things

that are not so good for you. I eat them almost every day.

Anyway, in my other post I DID say that I could take a slim fast drink or a

protein drink.  When I said I eat nuts, I meant a handful of nuts.  I know

nuts are high in fat and calories but they are good for you too.

Thanks Ronda! My Mom is always snacking on nuts and she has lost some weight so I thought I would start snacking on them too! It's A LOT healthier than what the two interpreters said they do when they're hungry...buy something out of a vending machine!
