Jen,

It may be well to follow your Dr's advise even if you hate the inserts. My

inserts wouldn't fit into my hiking boots very well, so I went hiking without

them. I took a small hop over a stream, and ended up ripping the PF ligament.

Luckily we were very near the car, since DH had to help me out of the woods! It

ended up needing surgery after that.

yikes!! I found that sometimes you know what is best for you body. My ortho doc gave me this brace for my knee.. when in brace I ran funny and hurt my hip!! now I focus on strengthening knee..and right shoes.. no braceof course with PF I guess that isn't the issue.. just rest and stretching.. hope it gets better.. When I had PF I felt like a cripple!judy To:

My Plantar Fasciitis has gone away but the side of my right foot and my ankle still hurt. My Dr. said that the tendon is still swollen so he gave me another shot. P.S. It's so inspiring that you manage to get workouts in, in spite of all your

foot pain. And others in the group, too. You are all amazing.

Yep I did feel like a cripple with the PF. It's gone now but I have a little swelling by my ankle bone from tendonitis, it doesn't hurt though so it's not too bad. I have to make sure that I stretch and tape my feet MYSELF if the PF starts to act up again. The bottom of my feet are a little sore today but not too bad. I'm going to skip walking though to give them a break. I will still do a Gilad workout or two. About your knee. I didn't wear the stupid wrap-around brace the Dr. gave me. Instead I found a pull-on brace with metal stays that works awesome for me. I don't run funny and I wear them on both knees...have to, otherwise knee-caps would go out.To happy feet AND knees, Jen--- On
