Guest guest
Hi I am new to the board. I am 50 years old. I was dianosed wirh RA about 3 to 5 years ago. This last winter it was really bad I could hardly walk. There isn't a support group in our area and I would like to communicate with others that have similar problems. Questions I have does your inflammation move to different parts of your body? Like one day it might be your feet next day your jaw? Some mornings I wake up with this huge headache like a sinus headache most of the time after my walk it goes away. I am on methotrexate 6 pills once a week. About 3months ago on 15mg of predizone. The predizone does wonders scared of side effects. I have gotton myself down to 7mg. Pain is mannageable. Last Sept. I had the lapband weight loss surgery and have loss 72lbs. I'm sure that helps the RA. I have been trying to tell myself I don't have it. But Dr. said sounds like you are trying to make a deal with your body. He said he was glad to see my determation but I will always have RA. Marilyn
