Guest guest
I thought I would try to respond to everyone in one post, not sure if I will attempt that again but trying to look for a way to talk to everyone and not leave anyone out. A lot of the messages I really want to get to but can't so I may be a little late responding. here goes... Dennis, I have been in Georgia for 8 years on and off due to husband's work. I don't know what the salesman said a state thing or not but the salesman said we could get into an accident with the steering handle and would be held responsible if we were not cleared to receive one. With your new informatiion, I will check deeper about that too. Thanks for the information. Thanks. Ebony ------------------------------------------------ Wow, Kathe in CA, Sounds like you hit a rough patch. I hope the new medication and icreased dosage of the MTX work for you too. Weather can often do play a part in increased pain levels. I have been on the Ultram before. I was not able to tolerate it but it sounds like it has helped you before, so maybe the 200 mg will work for you.. Good to hear from you. Feel better. healing, Ebony ----------------------------------------------------------- Hey there Tawny, Sorry about all of the pain. Prayers that everything goes well with removing the tumors and that this surgery solves the pain problem. God bless you. Ebony ----------------------------------------- Hi Kathy in IL, That's kind of where I am with the meds. I was taken off the MTX before I had a chance to noitce a difference because of liver problems. That was my 3rd time on it and didn't have the positive results you had on it though. However, I am revisiting all meds I have been on trying to see if they will work for me this time around. Otherwise, there isn't much else but the natural way. You said you tried the arava again? Did it work for you before? I am having the same problems with hands and many of the things you mentioned, that's what caught my attention with your message. I may try the arava again also. You sound like me. I went back to my transcribing work part-time and had a flare right away don't know how long this will last, the job but we gotta do what we gotta do, right? Hope the MTX didn't cause the pneumonia for, although I had difficulty breathing when on it. Hope things work out soon. Are you able to take any of the biologics at all? Sometimes insurance won't cover on but will the other one and they are all similar anyway. Feel better soon. healing, Ebony --------------------------------------------------------------------- As for the Remicade, it is easier because you go through your insurance and not the prescription coverage, but I didn't have good results with it. I felt no relief and actually got worse and it can be adjusted according to what you weigh. I developed blurred vision that won't quit behind it too. Even so, I have heard (never met anyone person) but I have heard many success stories about people taking the Remicade. As we know by now, this whole thing is Extremely extremely individual. I have seen such a wide range of side effects and responses to the meds, I wonder if we have the same condition some of the times. So you can only gain so much informtation about the medications from the boards or from your doctors even. You really have to just try it for yourself -- one person's cure is another person's nightmare with these meds. Blessings, Ebony --------------------------------- Messenger with Voice.
