Oh Hugs!  That is huge, Jen!  I know that it is such a competitive job force these days, esp. in Michigan.  Any acheivements and tests passed are indeed a blessing!

Guess What?  I FINALLY got some stress relief!   I took a test for interpreting in Michigan on December 29th and I'd been waiting since then for the results.  I was under A LOT of stress because if I didn't pass the test I would have lost my job!  Everyone in Michigan has to be either national certified or have a state (BEI) interpreting license.

There are no jobs in Michigan and it would be very hard for me to find another job because I've been interpreting since 1996.  Most companies (I did try to find another job a few years ago) won't hire me because they think I will go back to interpreting if I had a chance...and YES they're right!  It has it's pros and cons but I LOVE my job.

When I took the test I thought for sure I

had failed it because I got so NERVOUS!  I kept thinking how am I going to keep my job?  How am I going to payoff my medical bills without a job?  How will I ever be able to get a new car?  I knew that I could just go ahead and take the National test but I really wanted to pass the BEI.  I thought for sure I had failed and I was so upset and depressed about it.  I couldn't sleep or get it off my mind and the waiting was just KILLING ME!

Today when I received the letter from the Govt agency telling me that I had passed, I cried like a baby and got down on my knees to thank God!  I am so HAPPY and a HUGE weight has been lifted off my shoulders!  I know I can accomplish anything after going through this!

JenP..s My next goal is to study for and pass the National

Interpreter test.  After that I won't have to take any more crazy state tests and I can work any where in the US!

That's why I was so bitchy and sensitive...anything would set me off! It was terrible having to wait 3 months for it and it really did stress me out and drive me crazy.!Craziness, somewhat cured :) Jen

Hugs... I get that way at certain times of the month - without a stressful test!  I'm sorry your podiatrist taped up your foot in such a way to further irritate.  When Dr. No, my chiro does it, it helps everything!

When I had PF the best thing was lots of stretching, icing, and sleeping in the prescribed enstein boot..

I have a lot of posts to catch up on. The last time I posted was in response to Judy S from Exercise Video's group passing away (last Tuesday.)I was planning to post all of the exercise posts I haven't done yet. But unfortunately I got a stomach virus instead. I had an upset stomach Tuesday night, that I thought was due to getting up very early to work that day and running around in 90+ degree weather. But it wasn't. After I came home from work on Wednesday I still had an upset stomach/nausea and I also had a lot of diarrhea! I still have an upset stomach and a little diarrhea but I guess I have to go to work tomorrow so wish me good luck. Two positive notes:I lost about 6 lbs but not recommend method! And despite being sick I went up to Chesaning to pick up

kitten number two! I didn't drive and my stomach tolerated the trip (an hour and half) pretty well.My new kitten's name is Sonny and he is 7 weeks old today (June 24th!)Look at attached pictureMore later, Jen

I hope you are feeling better soon, too. Having the flu is miserable. Hope you

did okay at work.
