Guest guest
I went back to the Rheumy today. What a caring doctor. She personaly apologized to me for my calls not being returned sooner. My lupus test came back negative but i do have Fybro and Raynaud's. Is it possible to have lupus and get a false negative on a test? Kathy from CA in this group asked me what meds I'm on. I take Cymbalta, Topamax, Ultram, Vicodin, Ambien CR, Lamictal for anxiety, Ativan for anxiety and Metformin (for PCOS). My doctor gave me three trigger point injections today. I have never had them but what a relief! She also gave me Lidoderm Patches to take the edge off. My aunt called and told me to put rice in a sock and heat it up. I hardly ever make rice so imagine my surprise to see a bag of it in my cupboard. I have found a lot of relief with that. In a way I'm greatful that I don't have lupus but what would cause me to have every single symptom? I feel like I'm starting all over again. Should ask to be tested again in the future? My doctor is sending me to a dermatologist for skin lesions that I have on my entire body and said the would check me for scleroderma. I just want to kick somebody so they hurt as bad as I do. I sent my daughter to stay with my parents until Tuesday and my husband too time off work to help me clean and just spend time with each other. He's a good man but I can see he hurts as much as I do. We had a lot of plans but now we're spending all of our savings on drs and meds. I'm greatful that I can find support here. I've shared all of the messages I've gotten with him and he's glad I found a support group. I'm glad I have found new friends here!
