Guest guest
I'm in! I track my food in an Excel spreadsheet. I actually like doing it, believe it or not, UNTIL I eat something bad and log it in, then I don't want to do it anymore out of shame!Carolyn, I can email you and Jen my daily intake if it doesn't bother you, and you can do the same with me if you feel like it pinkpussycat@... Anyone else? >I need to start recording my food and counting > calories again...I hate doing it but that's what worked for me in > the past. jen, i hate doing that too. like, really really hate it! but i agree, logging and counting and having a calorie goal has helped me immensely. once i got to my goal weight, i stopped doing it. but after about a month of not logging, i know that i am backsliding and not eating right again, and ive gained 2 pounds back in the last week (how can i gain 2 pounds in a week but take a month to lose 2 pounds?!?) so..... would you like to take me up on a calorie counting challenge for august? :*carolyn. -- ___________________________________________________________________Please help support my website by doing your Amazon shopping through me with this link:http://www.amazon.com/? & tag=pinkpussycasc-20 & camp=212361 & creative=392009 & linkCode=wsw & THANK YOU! =^..^=

LOL... thats funny! arent we supposed to be shamed out of eating the food instead? > Carolyn, I can email you and Jen my daily intake if it doesn't > bother you, and you can do the same with me if you feel like it i would be honoured to serve as your accountability for this challenge. so please feel free to send your logs. i will be using fitbit.com because it will automatically keep track of my calorie burn (i manually enter workouts that have HRM data), applies that to the food intake i have recorded, and tell me, at any point in the day, how many calories i have left to eat so i can reach my set goal. this has been the easiest and most accurate way that i have found to figure out how many cals to eat each day. fitbit.com wont let me print my food log though i will have to look into an add-on or something so i can send my logs to you. the problem that you may see in my logs is that i will under-eat on days that i work alot of hours. on my days off, i tend to over-eat. ugh! so my goal is to be consistently on track for the right number of calories each day in order to maintain my weight at 115lbs (currently 117lbs, 31 pounds lost in the last year). :*carolyn. Guest guest
That's when you REALLY need to do it. When admit what you've done you actually feel better, because you know you're taking responsibility and moving forward, otherwise you know you're just hiding and it starts a bad spiral. To: exercisevideos Sent: Wed, August 1, 2012 2:00:55 PMSubject: Re: calorie counting challenge I'm in! Guest guest
Yep! That pretty much sums it up! That's when you REALLY need to do it. Guest guest
Sure! That would be great Caroline. I warn you that my calories will be high for Sunday night though because my Mom is FINALLY taking me out for my birthday dinner...it's only 5 months late LOL. I always go to Red Lobster for that, I LOVE fish and seafood of all kinds.
