Guest guest
I know what you mean and it hurts almost as bad as the RA. I have the same problem. I put a lot wieght on after I stopped smoking the shortly after that I the systems of RA started. I can't walk very far without a lot of pain so i can't take it off either and it makes me want to just cry. It doesn't help when people judge you about it either. <melissahancock@...> wrote: I also have one of these. It is a permanent one because as my doc said, I will always have RA, OA, Fibro, and a very bad back. I don't use it all of the time, just when I need to. And yes I get those looks all of the time. I am overweight also, so I feel like people are looking at me thinking that being overweight is not a handicap that it is something that is my fault. The thing is I am on at least 15 meds and I am in so much pain that I can't exercise, so how am I supposed to lose it? Oh, well I am rambling now. It is something I think anyone with RA needs, especially if you don't have anyone to go places for you or with you on the bad days. in KY --------------------------------- Groups are talking.
