Hi a,

Don't feel bad - I had a lot of trouble breast feeding, it was a nightmare for me (I ended up with a vicious case of mastitis (sp?) and an abcess which literally almost threatened my life w/ the degree of the infection - I needed surgical intervention to fix it). I would have been better giving up sooner than I did b/c it put a lot of pressure on my already exhausted/hormonal state. Plus, then I had to deal w/ the surgery and all the follow up for that.

((HUGS)) Oh, congratulations, too!!! No matter what, it gets better!!Donna

Sadly, not anymore. Had latch issues with her mouth (not tongue tied but similar) and the size of my nipple working against us. Stupid pump stopped working for me (or me for it) and I spent all day manually expressing. Four lactation consultants several doctors and the midwife finally convinced me to stop...so I could spend more time actually caring for her. At least she got a few months of antibodies...It still makes me heartsick.Actually hunger much more in control since I've stopped. Still pro-breastfeeding and I wouldn't give it up for that, but I think everyone is different. I've had friends put on even more weight. Probably a genetic/hormonal thing. Finally have dropped two pounds. Tons more to go.a> >> > Hi all,> > We are now three months post partum and little Laila is doing well. Mommy's weightloss? Not so much. Haven't lost a THING since right after delivery. Finding time to workout has been really hard. Mostly we were walking with her in a wearable carrier but now the heat is on. I'm going to have to resort to ten minute videos here and there. I'm back at work so at least I'm getting steps in during the day and climbing the 10 flights of stairs several times a day. Did anyone else have

this problem? My eating has been 95% clean. I'm following the Engine 2 diet. No oil, vegan, no salt....about to kick my renewed love of wine back to the curb as well.> > > > So sorry to hear about the loss of Judy. We had a lot in common career/opinion wise. I hope she is surrounded by doggy love in Heaven. > > Hugs to all,> > a> >>
