3 Mile Esplanade Walk + X-Train Fit: Chest and Back (63 minutes)

Today I briskly walked my 3 miles at lunch, per usual, and I just got done with X-Train Fit: Chest and Back with Oram.  She has a sense of humor, I'm noticing.  My favorite line from tonite's workout was, " I'm sweatin' like a sinner on Sunday " .

In general, you do the following set of exercises 3 times but the counts change each time and the variants get a little harder for some of them. Pushups become decline pushups, for example.  First set has counts of singles, 2nd set is 2 up 2 down, third set is half 3 up one down, then one up 3 down.

exercises and what I used / didpushups (later became decline pushups) 10 reps, toes first set, then kneessupermans 4 sets of 30 seconds or so (later became superman x's, then superman kicks)  I did all advanced for these

chest flys, 20 reps (she never told you - It was either 20 or 25 but I did 20) 15's, 15's, 12'sback flys, 20 reps (I think) -8's, 8's, 5'sright arm row - 25, 20, 15

right arm staggered pushups - 10 reps first set on toes, then kneesleft arm row - 25, 20, 15left arm staggered pushups - 10 reps first set on toes, then kneeslatpull downs - green band all 3 sets.  I think my blue band might be hardest, so I'll use that next time

I know I will be feeling this tomorrow, especially for chest.  Later on in the rotation from time to time I may just do 30 minutes of chest and 30 minutes of back at the gym instead - which I like better (or Cathe's Chest and Back).   

All in all though, this was a good workout, and I'm liking this series because it's intense, gets the job done, but has a more mellow feel to it than other dvd sets out there.
