Guest guest
hi everyone! this morning i finally made it out for a walk with chinook. the weather was dreary but not stormy. calm cool air from the south made the walk pleasant, although i was heavily dressed so i didnt feel any sort of chill. i was so glad that i went walking and beat the rain and cold north wind that developed later today. this evening i tried to stick to my xfactor rotation and did lower, abs and yoga. not the x-factor routines, but substitutes. i took donna's advice and picked a floor routine for lower body which was a good plan. picked 'skinny bitch: legs', dont ask me why. this was about 20 mins and was done side-laying and on fours. an ok routine, but nothing special, and i had to keep an eye on the tv for changes because the cueing was not all there. also there were absolutely no form pointers given. the skinny bitch girls are not instructors, but made this dvd as a companion for their book (they are probably not writers either ::sigh:: ) i then decided to add on the 'skinny bitch: ass' workout which started out upright and moving. i could not do much of this routine because the cueing was non-existent. i mean, there was NONE! they just went into their routine and noone was saying a single word. i tried to follow along but was quickly lost. the exercises may have been good, i dont know, i didnt stick around for very long. so i decided not to do the skinny bitch abs workout and just went to yoga. did 'self: destress yoga' which includes an active routine and a restorative routine, each around 20 mins. i chose the restorative and while it was a million times better than anything 'skinny bitch' has made, it was also just ok. i would do this one again though.... skinny bitch goes in the garbage... ugh! :*carolyn.
