Guest guest
Yes! I had poor circulation in my hands and feet. In fact, my entire body thermostat was just SCREWY. About discussing hair loss...I just told the anesthesiologist about this. I didn't really know which drugs I had reacted to in the past, but I told him this was a concern of mine. I can't remember having him give me information on this. He just wrote things down, shook his head at times, asked questions and told me he had several options and would try to use the best type he could to alleviate most of my past " horror " experiences. I was actually quite impressed with his concern. I have always had pretty nasty surgical experiences and was MOST miserable due to anesthesia, so I am pleased to say, this was the most uneventful time I have ever had. I woke up quickly, was alert, didn't feel agitated, etc. The only bad thing that happened was the day following surgery I had a bad reaction to the pain medicine I was taking and I had to get another type. Honestly, by the time I got my explantation, I had been through all I could handle and I was so darn sick and miserable, I no longer cared about anything. I think if someone would have told me I could die during the surgery, I would have said " thank God..maybe I will be lucky and die " .
