Try LYSINE capsules. You can get them at your local health food store.

My Rhuematologist suggested it when I continued to have mouth sores and

swollen roof of my mouth. It worked...I was very impressed!!! Hope this

helps. D

Lysine capsules work on cold sores too. If I stay on the lysine I won't get cold

sores but you know with all the drugs that I'm taking as soon as I can eliminate

a 'pill', I do it. If a cold sore starts again, I go to 1000 mg of lysine for a

week, and then drop down to 500 mg for about a month. Then they stop. Just

another alternative to meds.
